Country French Double Height Kitchen

This was a large room with a complete wall of glass doors that lead directly out into a beautiful formal garden. Arranging the space for a convenient working kitchen required developing two sink areas, one near the stove for preparation and the other for the storage on the far side of the huge island. We used antique walnut parquet flooring for the top of the island. We created a warm table top surface as well as an interesting design. All the wood carving shown are from the Enkeboll Village collection designed by Beverly Ellsley.
